ABOUT THE ROLE
The Attorney Learning & Development Coordinator will support learning efforts within the Attorney Learning & Development Group (ALDG). This includes providing project and program support, administrative coordination, and logistical assistance to ensure the seamless execution of training initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will effectively support multiple workstreams, collaborate efficiently within a team, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. They will demonstrate commitment to delivering high-quality, learner-centric experiences and play a key role in supporting initiatives that enhance professional growth and development. This role ensures that client service and satisfaction are attained in all aspects of the position.
Support for Attorney Learning Programs
- Assist with coordination of firmwide, regional, and office training programs, providing logistical and administrative support.
- Provide end-to-end logistical support, including scheduling, announcements, materials preparation, catering coordination, and technology setup.
- Act as a point of contact for presenters, practice administrative contacts, and technology services.
- Maintain the online training calendar and ensure programs and materials are added to the LMS and online catalog.
- Track attendance, compile evaluation data, and assist in surveying attendees.
- Ensure CLE compliance by maintaining attendance records and required documentation.
- Support in-person workshops, working in close collaboration with internal teams and the travel and events department.
- Assist with on-site coordination, including registration, material distribution, and supporting presenters and attendees as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges during training programs as they arise.
- Build and maintain event apps for training programs.
General Learning Support and Administration
- Respond to attorney learning inquiries and escalate as needed.
- Generate Workday reports for training invitations and alerts.
- Schedule team meetings and assist with travel arrangements when necessary.
- Process invoices and expenses in Chrome River.
- Retrieve historical training materials as needed.
- Assist in creating presentations and other materials for programs and team use.
Learning Technology and Information Management Support
- Maintain and update SharePoint pages on the firms intranet.
- Upload recorded programs to the firms LMS.
- Support the maintenance of structured learning paths within the LMS and ensure accurate catalog updates.
- Provide basic user support for attorneys and faculty, including troubleshooting LMS access issues.
- Organize training materials and media for in-office and off-site programs across digital platforms and storage systems.
- Conduct clean-up projects to optimize data storage and maintain firm records.
- Monitor learning data and update processes in alignment with firm policy changes.
- Assist in identifying efficiency improvements and documenting processes for key responsibilities.
ABOUT YOU
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree required and a minimum of two years of related experience in learning and development, professional development, or talent management within professional services. Law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) required.
- Experience with CLE compliance or similar regulatory requirements is preferred.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, handling multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and evolving business needs while maintaining reliability, flexibility, and strong time management.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new software (e.g., Qualtrics, Guidebook) with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some overtime and potential travel.

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
New York, San Francisco range: $63k to $80k
Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. salary range: $60k to $75k
